The Blockchain for Data.
FTSO oracle · State Connector · FAssets · XRPFi · EVM PoS
Flare gives developers decentralized access to high-integrity data from other chains and the internet — natively, without trusted intermediaries. Build the next generation of AI-powered, cross-chain, data-rich dApps.
Two protocols.
One data layer.
Every Flare dApp is powered by two enshrined, in-protocol data systems — the FTSO and the State Connector. No third-party oracles. No trusted bridges. Just decentralized, verifiable data.
Flare Time Series Oracle
The FTSO is a decentralized, in-protocol oracle delivering high-integrity price and data feeds for digital assets, commodities, and forex — directly on Flare. Data providers compete and stake FLR, earning rewards for accuracy. SparkDEX, lending protocols, and AI dApps read FTSO data natively.
State Connector
Flare's State Connector lets smart contracts securely access the state of any connected blockchain and the internet — without custodial bridges or trusted intermediaries. It uses a request-commit-reveal (RCR) protocol with attestation providers. This is how FAssets verifies XRP transactions on-chain.
FAssets Protocol
FAssets bring non-smart-contract tokens (XRP, BTC, DOGE, LTC) to Flare as 1:1 backed representations — without wrapping or custodial bridges. FXRP is live and audited by Zellic and Coinspect. Collateral agents mint FAssets; the State Connector verifies the underlying chain in real time.
DeFi for XRP holders.
Flare unlocks the $60B+ XRP ecosystem for DeFi. With FXRP, XRP holders can lend, borrow, trade, and earn on-chain — without selling or wrapping their XRP.
Why XRP needs Flare
XRP doesn't natively support smart contracts — making DeFi inaccessible for 5M+ XRP holders. Flare's FAssets protocol creates FXRP: a 1:1 backed, EVM-compatible representation of XRP that unlocks lending, borrowing, liquidity provisioning, and trading on Flare — all powered by the State Connector.
2. State Connector verifies XRP lock on XRPL
3. FXRP enters Flare EVM — use in DeFi freely
4. Burn FXRP → unlock XRP on XRPL anytime
Stake FLR. Earn FTSO rewards.
Wrap FLR to wFLR and delegate to FTSO data providers to earn oracle rewards — while also participating in network governance and securing the Flare data layer.
Your FLR Staking
Connect wallet to view FLR balance, FTSO delegation, and accrued oracle rewards.
Flare Stats
Live Flare Network metrics. EVM PoS Layer 1 with enshrined oracles — the data blockchain.
Build on Flare.
Flare is fully EVM-compatible — deploy existing Solidity code, use Hardhat/Foundry, and access enshrined oracles from your smart contracts. No new tooling required.
SparkDEX — #1 DEX
The first AI-powered DEX on Flare. $4B+ volume, 650% TVL growth. V3 AMM + 100x perps via LayerZero chain abstraction. Powered by FTSO oracle. $SPRK token with $500K+ fees accrued.
Liquid Staking — sFLR
Stake wFLR to receive sFLR — liquid staked FLR that earns FTSO rewards while remaining fully composable in DeFi. sFLR pools on SparkDEX offer the highest APY on Flare (48%+).
Telegram Wallet
Flare partnered with Telegram Wallet to bring FLR to 100M+ users. Deposit, withdraw, and exchange FLR directly within Telegram — the largest crypto onboarding initiative in Flare's history.
Institutional — XRPFi
VivoPower (Nasdaq) committed $100M to Flare's XRPFi infrastructure. Everything Blockchain Inc. became the second institutional adopter. Flare positions itself as the institutional XRP DeFi layer.
USDT0 — Omnichain Stablecoin
Flare integrated USDT0 — Tether's LayerZero-powered omnichain stablecoin. USDT0 moves natively between Flare, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Optimism without custodial bridges, unlocking $2M+ in DeFi TVL since launch.
Developer SDK
Build on Flare with standard EVM tooling — Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js, wagmi. Read FTSO data in 3 lines of Solidity. Access the State Connector for cross-chain proofs. Full docs, testnet, and Songbird canary network available.

Gas. Governance. Oracle.
FLR is the native utility token of Flare Network. It powers every transaction, vote, and oracle reward on the network. Stake FLR to become a data provider, delegate to earn FTSO rewards, and vote on governance proposals that shape the protocol.
About Flare Network
// What is Flare Network?
Flare is the blockchain for data — an EVM-compatible Layer 1 (Proof-of-Stake) blockchain that gives developers secure, decentralized access to high-integrity data from other chains and the internet. Its two core protocols — the FTSO and the State Connector — provide oracle feeds and cross-chain data without trusted intermediaries.
// What is the FTSO?
The Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO) is Flare's enshrined, in-protocol decentralized oracle. Data providers stake FLR and compete to submit accurate price and data feeds — earning rewards for accuracy. Unlike Chainlink, the FTSO is built directly into the Flare protocol with no dependency on external oracle networks.
// How do I earn FTSO rewards?
Wrap FLR to wFLR, then delegate your wFLR to FTSO data providers you trust. Providers earn oracle rewards for submitting accurate data, and share rewards with delegators proportionally. You keep your FLR — delegation is non-custodial. You can also participate in governance and vote on proposals with your wFLR.
// What is XRPFi?
XRPFi is Flare's initiative to bring DeFi to XRP holders via the FAssets protocol. FXRP is a 1:1 backed representation of XRP that functions in Flare's EVM ecosystem — enabling XRP holders to lend, borrow, provide liquidity, and trade without selling their XRP. VivoPower committed $100M to XRPFi infrastructure on Flare.
// What is the State Connector?
The State Connector lets Flare smart contracts securely access the verified state of any connected blockchain (XRP, BTC, ETH, etc.) and the internet. It uses a request-commit-reveal protocol with decentralized attestation providers. This is the core technology powering FAssets — it verifies that XRP is locked on XRPL before minting FXRP on Flare.
// What is Songbird?
Songbird is Flare's canary network — a fully functional blockchain (with its own SGB token) that serves as a testing and experimentation environment for Flare. New features are deployed on Songbird before Flare mainnet. Songbird has its own governance, validators, and DeFi ecosystem. Launched in 2021, predating the Flare mainnet launch in January 2023.
